Iconic Promenade Presents Live on Lincoln
Live Musical Performances Scheduled through Spring 2018

Miami Beach, FLA., Jan. 10, 2018 – Lincoln Road, the iconic pedestrian promenade, recognized as the cultural and social heart of Miami Beach, continues to add to its lineup of world-class shopping, dining and cultural pursuit options. In 2018, Lincoln Road will welcome an ongoing line-up of live performances and events with its newly debuted Live on Lincoln series. Presented by the Lincoln Road Business Improvement District, Live on Lincoln will feature live performances by the South Beach Chamber Ensemble, interactive Tango opportunities, live performances by New World Symphony Fellows following the Symphony’s WALLCAST® Performances and live jazz, blues, pop and world music performances on the 1100 Lincoln Road stage every Saturday & Sunday, from 1 pm to 4 pm through May. All performances are free and open to public.

“The energy and excitement on Lincoln Road is unlike any other spot in South Florida, attracting visitors from across the globe,” shares Tim Schmand, executive director of the Lincoln Road Business Improvement District. “We look forward to the continued growth and development on Lincoln Road and will be revealing new offerings to enhance the Lincoln Road experience for our neighbors, tenants and visitors.”

Below is a selection of scheduled performances coming to Lincoln Road in 2018, with more to be announced in the coming months:

South Beach Chamber Ensemble
The South Beach Chamber Ensemble promotes and performs chamber music in all its diverse forms, from its origins in the distant past to the varied cultural creations being produced today.
The South Beach Chamber Ensemble will perform every second Saturday of the month, adjacent to the Euclid Oval from 2pm to 3pm on the following dates:

Tango #onLincoln
According to Wikipedia, the health benefits of Tango include feeling more relaxed, sexier and less depressed. Something we can all use.
Tango #onLincoln will be held monthly on Wednesday’s in Lincoln Road’s 800 Block from 7pm to 10pm:

Lincoln Road

Lincoln Road Business Improvement District
The Lincoln Road Business Improvement District (LR BID) was created in 2015 to stabilize and improve the Lincoln Road retail business district, which is located in a nationally recognized historic district, through promotion, management, marketing and similar services, by: i) Representing and advocating for the property and business owners within the boundaries of the district; ii) Promoting and encouraging the continued development of a diverse, vibrant and pedestrian friendly Lincoln Road mixed-use neighborhood, thereby providing a dynamic setting for businesses, the visiting public, arts and entertainment, as well as area residents; iii) Serving as a cultural and civic hub for the community and fostering a spirit of cooperation and maintenance of high standards of quality among its members; and iv) Bringing transformative projects into the District.
